Orillia's Lady Kings reign despite the rain

Weather didn't keep local lacrosse players from taking to the field

NEWS RELEASE
ORILLIA LADY KINGS
*************************
Monday night was proof that lacrosse players are the toughest.

Despite some serious downpours in Orillia, the Orillia Lady Kings house-league field lacrosse program was in full force, with smiles, goals and skill building.

Due to the fact that the game sheets were soaked and indecipherable, our focus this week is on thanking all of those that make the program the huge success that it is. We are so grateful to our wonderful volunteer coaches and supervisors who are there rain or shine to coach, mentor and inspire our young lacrosse players. We are also very grateful to our many sponsors whose generous contribution to the program makes field lacrosse in Orillia possible and accessible in our community.

Thank you so much to the following local businesses who support our female athletes in Orillia and the Orillia Lady Kings field lacrosse program:

  • BMO Nesbitt Burns — John Mayo
  • Atmosphere Electric
  • 2nd Century Source for Sports
  • Kutting Edge
  • Mariposa Landscaping
  • Mid Ontario Disposal
  • Strachan and Morris Insurance Brokers
  • Tryon Construction
  • Champlain Ready Mix
  • Northern Elite Lacrosse
  • The Stoutts RE/MAX
  • Millwood Logistics
  • St. Louis Bar & Grill

Players are looking forward to two more weeks of house-league play.
