The Beauty Supply Outlet Orillia Ramara Rockets U18 girls soccer team used a stifling defence to defeat Huntsville 3-0 in their semifinal Huronia Cup game, and now advance to the finals to be played in mid-August.
The solid quartet of Kaitlyn Roberts, Taylor Latimer, Carmen Barcelona and Jenna Lee consistently thwarted any Huntsville chances and gave Grace Dobson the shutout in her first-ever start in net.
Gabriella Chiaramida, Abby Whalen and Sarinna Foy continuously fed forwards Krystal Priddle and Avery Dobson passes until the Rockets finally scored. Avery Dobson notched two and Jenna Lee got the other.
