The McLean & Dickey Orillia Terriers bounced back from a disappointing weekend loss against Schomberg by trouncing the visiting Penetang Kings 6-2 Tuesday night.

The game was a makeup contest after being cancelled earlier this year due to COVID-19. Because it was a 9:10 p.m. start, the Terriers provided free admission to the 105 fans who came out to watch the game at Rotary Place.

The Terriers dominated the Provincial Jr. C contest, outshooting the rival Kings 48-33.

Sam Pink, Broderick Black, Austin Holenski, Josh Brown, Noah Sands and Mason Beck scored for the victors, while Kaiden Robitaille led all playmakers with two assists.

Wade Monague picked up the win between the pipes, stopping 31 of 33 shots.

Orillia will now play a home-and-home series against the red-hot Stayner Siskins, who sit atop the North Carruthers Division standings with a 24-4 record.

The Terriers sport a 19-7-1 record and are in third place, nine points back of Stayner heading into the crucial showdown with the dvision front runners.

Orillia will travel to Stayner Thursday night and then host the Siskins Saturday night in a 7:30 p.m. contest at Rotary Place.

Sunday, Orillia will travel to Huntsville to cap one of their busiest stretches of the season.
