The Scotiabank minor midget Terriers face a must-win game on Good Friday to keep their hopes alive to win an Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) championship.

The Erie North Shore Storm leads the series five points to three. Erie won the first two games of the series on home ice (6-4 and 5-2). Last weekend, the Terriers rebounded at home to take Game 3 (5-3). Game 4 ended in a 6-6 tie after a thrilling ten-minute overtime.

The Terriers are hoping for a big Easter weekend crowd of supporters Friday for their 5 p.m. must-win contest. A Terrier win will send the series to a sixth game in Kingsville on Monday.

The local minor midgets are the last local team standing in the hunt for an OMHA crown. The Moonstone Mechanical novices were eliminated in three straight games to Woolwich, while Woolwich also prevailed against the Kelsey’s major midgets.
