Shirley Healy, president of the Orillia Lawn Bowling Club, invites anyone interested to attend ian Open House at the club on July 24 and 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

It will be an opportunity to try out this challenging, social, fun-filled sport.

The only requirement is to wear flat soled, closed-toe shoes. COVID precautions will be observed.

The Orillia Lawn Bowling Club is located on Commerce Road between the Orillia Fire Department's Station 2 and Patrick Fogarty Catholic Secondary School.

The event is being held with the help of Participaction Canada.

The facility is friendly, non-profit club offering sportsmanship, exercise and social opportunities. The club boasts an excellent green and a spacious clubhouse. 

Member volunteers operate, maintain and enhance the club green, facilities, and activities. Lawn bowling occurs from May to September with a regular schedule of games and a variety of tournaments. New members are always welcome.
