The Orillia Terriers U11 A team is learning valuable life lessons both on and off the ice.
The team is doing its part to give back this year and spread a little Christmas cheer.
For the second year in a row, the U11s participated in the Santa for Seniors program operated out of the Orillia Public Library. Each member of the team picked the name of a local senior who may not otherwise get a gift this Christmas. The kids went shopping and then wrapped all the gifts, and although they had a lot of fun doing it, they also learned the importance of giving back to people in their community.
