Deadline looming for public art installation proposals

Funding for downtown art project comes from province

The Town of Midland is currently seeking proposals for a public art installation for the corner of King Street and Bayshore Drive.

The submission deadline is Tuesday, March 23.

This project is funded by the Rural Economic Development Program. The $250,000 grant, through the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, is being used for the public art installation as well as "streetscaping" (street furnishings, trees and plantings) along King Street.
