NEWS RELEASE
SIMCOE NORTH PROVINCIAL LIBERAL ASSOCIATION
*************************
In the spirit of meaningful consultation, the Simcoe North Provincial Liberal Association is reaching out to the public once again to build on what we have heard through our outreach accurately reflects your concerns.

Following the release of an online survey in November 2020, the Policy Committee, comprised of local volunteers, has summarized feedback into five main policy areas:

  • Safe and sustainable long-term care for all Ontarians;
  • The path to a sustainable environment;
  • The future of agriculture as an economic engine;
  • Housing availability and affordability;
  • Our economic future in Simcoe North.

“This is a very important stage in our local policy development process,” said Trevor Sykes, SNPLA President. “Our provincial association committed to actively listening to local voices on what matters most to them, regardless of their political affiliations.

"This policy development process has been specifically designed to promote engagement with our residents. We encourage everyone to seize this opportunity to be heard and help us develop the Liberal 2022 platform," Sykes added.

Residents are now invited to submit comments and feedback on these areas to help the SNPLA as we develop the final policy proposals to be submitted to the Ontario Liberal Party. The SNPLA will advocate strongly for the inclusion of homegrown policies in the provincial 2022 platform.

If you would like the chance to have your voice heard on the provincial stage, email us at [email protected], or call us at 705-534-6288. Regular updates will be posted on our Facebook page (@SimcoeNorthPLA).
