Passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19th, 2019 at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late John Almeida. Sheila is the loving mother of Kathy Carpenter (Ryan) and Ken Almeida (Kate) both of Orillia and cherished Nana of Hannah, Roan, Mallory, Ben, Ali and the late Joah and Emma. She will also be missed by her furry grand dogs Maddie and Ella.
She is survived by her brother Surya Daniels (Saroj) and her extended family. Sheila enjoyed many years as a Registered Nurse at OSMH and was always fondly remembered by past patients for her gentle and caring ways. She will also be remembered for her generosity, hospitality and her somasas. But, it was her love for her family that she cherished the most. Sheila has left a hole that will never be filled but her strength and beautiful memories will carry us through.

Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Monday, July 22nd from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 23rd from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Immediately followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia. Parish prayers to be held in the parlor Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. If desired Memorial Donations to Orillia Soldier's Memorial Hospital would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
