Peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Sunday December 8, 2019 at the age of 87. Joan Arbuckle of Orillia, beloved wife of her former husband the late Robert Arbuckle. Loving mother of Larry Arbuckle, Brad Arbuckle, Marilyn Devlin, Randall Scott Arbuckle (predeceased), Dan Arbuckle, Dale Arbuckle, Kim Hunter and Kathy Brodie. Will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Bobby Bye and Gordon Bye. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held in the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday December 13, 2019 at 1 o’clock. A reception will follow the service. Family interment of ashes will take place in the spring in Clarkson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A Memorial Tree will be planted by the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes.
