ARENDS, Johannes (John): Beloved Husband, Father and Opa, Johannes (John) Arends, passed away peacefully at home on September 3rd, 2023 at the age of 71. Predeceased by his parents Leonardus and Jacqueline Arends, and his brothers Reggie and Henry Arends. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Mary (Schat) Arends who loved him dearly, his sister Maja Arends, his children Miranda, Michael (Miranda), Leonard (Bry), Kandas (DJ) and his grandchildren, Kiarra, Devon, Mitchell, Jade, Ty, Alyssa, Jocelyn, Raven, Reece, Laci, Kaisen and Thatcher along with his numerous family and friends. John loved spending time with his grandchildren and family, the joy of music, soccer, cards, fishing and playing the slots. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on September 9th between 2-5pm at Longford Mills Community Center, 3854 Longford Mills Rd, L0K 1L0.
