Peacefully at Leacock Care Centre Orillia, on Monday, April 1st, 2024 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Jean Armstrong. Dear father of Scott (Rosemarie) and Shirley (Steve). Cherished grandfather of Bob (Ashley), Nat (Luke), Ed (Ashleigh), and Jenna. Loving great grandfather of Charlotte, Everett, Theo, Isla, Keltie, Brooklyn, Wesley and Alora. Predeceased by his siblings brother of Harold (Dorothy), Isabel (Elmo) Ewing, George (Marion), Marie (Gordon) Moorhead and Catherine (Charles) Cousins. Don will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Don's life will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on April 19th, 2024 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations to Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital or Mariposa Hospice, would be appreciated by the family.
