It’s with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Charles (Chuck) Henry Beeton at Credit Valley Hospital on March 16, 2023 in his 97th year.  Chuck was predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn, and will be sadly missed by his son, Barry (Carolyn) Beeton, his daughters, Shelley (Chris) Gavaris, and Christine (Frank) Raponi.  Chuck will also be missed by his step children, Bill (Nancy) Mason, Sue (Brian) Laskosky, Ken (Niki) Mason, Janet (Barry) Johanson, and Karen (Charlie) Zammit. Chuck was a proud grandfather to, Mark, Alexis, Jenna, Jordan, Adam, Lauren, Alexiss, Ryan, Jessie, Derrick and Ashley.  Great grandchildren, Kinsley, Laurel and Austin also shared happy times with Grandpa Chuck.  Chuck grew up in Toronto and graduated high school from Jarvis Collegiate and began his journey into the world of automobiles. His career would lead him to owning and operating  Trafalgar Motors Company for many years in the city of Milton. Once retired, Chuck and his soul mate Evelyn travelled the world and eventually called Orillia their home. Chuck had a strong belief in community support which he enjoyed as an active Rotarian for over 50 years. His dedication awarded him The Paul Harris Award, the highest acknowledgement given by the Rotary Club. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater Street E., Orillia 705-326-3595 on Saturday March 25, 2023 from 11 am until time of service at 1 o’clock.  Reception to follow.  If so desired, donations may be made to Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation Orillia.
