Passed away peacefully at home August 11 2023 at the age of 70.
Daughter of Gordon and June Dicker, loving wife of James (Jim) Bell. Sister to 8 siblings. Predeceased by Ruth and George and greatly missed by sisters Alice, Mona and Mary. Mother to Jennifer (Ben) Holmes, Jason (Trish) Armstrong and Alana (Brad) Bell. Stepmother to Aaron (Sherri) Bell and Shannon (Liz) Bell. Proud grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 2.
Mea was Born in Toronto, a long time resident of Orillia and retired to Victoria Harbour in 2016. Mea escaped the Canadian winters she so dreaded, as a South Texas Snow Bird for 15 years of her retirement Mea spent the majority of her working years with Bell Canada in Toronto and H.R.C. ( Huronia Regional Center ) in Orillia.
In her child rearing years Mea helped found Orillia’s first co-ed beaver colony so Alana could join her brothers in scouting. These years were busy with darts at Longford Mills and activities at the Orillia Salvation Army.

Cremation has taken place at Mea’s request, so has a family celebration of Mea’s life.
