Passed away peacefully on Monday May 1, 2023 at the Sunnyside LTC Home, Kitchener, Ontario in her 93rd year. Born on November 4, 1930 in Mara Township, Ontario to Ronald Archibald McEachern and Elizabeth Margaret McEachern (nee Carson) and beloved sister of Margaret Sword, Alice McEachern (predeceased) and Katherine Russell (predeceased). Beloved wife of Leonard John Charles Bertram (predeceased) and loving mother of Leslie & wife Julie of Toronto, Michele & husband Paul of Courtice, Janine & husband Michael of Elmira, Cynthia & husband Sean of Burlington, Richard of Crawford Bay, B.C. and Denise & partner Dave Beaton of Kitchener. Dear grandmother of Kristen (Shawn), Lisa (Justin), Erin (Ryan), Spencer (Ashley), Claire, Rebecca, Adam, Brienna (Raphael) and great-grandmother of Taylor, Matthew and Grace. A private family service will be held at a later date. A special thank you to staff of the Westhill Retirement Home, Waterloo, and the Sunnyside LTC Home, Kitchener, Ontario.
