In her 75th year, passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on November 3, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. With an unwavering positive attitude and determination, Carole-Ann fought a courageous battle with cancer for the last two years, facing each day with resilience and grace.

Carole-Ann was the beloved wife of David Conrad Bourgeois, who preceded her in 2001. Their love was enduring, and they are now reunited, sharing their cherished memories of Florida, boating adventures, cottages, and precious moments with family and friends.

Carole-Ann leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She is survived by her devoted son, Dylan Bourgeois, and his wife, Andrea Demery-Bourgeois, as well as her cherished grandson, Julian Bourgeois. She is also survived by her beloved daughter, Ashley Carriere, and her son-in-law, Jamie.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Robert and Anita Facey, and sister of the late Warren Facey.  She also joins her in-laws Conrad and Shirley Bourgeois in eternity.

Carole-Ann's love extended to her pets, most recently her precious and pampered dog, Chateau, who brought her immense joy. Laura and Tim Coons and their family have warmly welcomed Chateau into their home, providing care for Chateau and comfort to Carole-Ann when it was needed most. Chateau's continued happiness with them means the world to us.

The family will forever be grateful for the support and compassion of those in the medical community who helped Carole-Ann through her cancer journey including: Dr. Scher, Dr. Levesque, the medical staff of the Walker Family Cancer Center, Emergency Department, and the Oncology Unit of the St. Catharines General Hospital.

Donations in Carole-Ann’s memory can be made to the Niagara Health Foundation, the Terry Fox Foundation, or a charity close to your heart. Your contributions will honour Carole-Ann's memory and support causes that were meaningful to her.

Her family will receive the comfort of friends at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME (2000 Merrittville Hwy at the corner of Hwy 20) on Friday December 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
