Died peacefully at the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Tuesday December 4, 2018 at the age of 97. Jack, beloved husband of the late June Carrigan. Loving father of Keith and his wife Joanne and Gregg and his wife Alzira. Cherished grandfather of Bryan and Jaclyn Carrigan, Erin Ryan and Kristy Ahola and to great grandchildren Brendan and Kylie Ryan. Dear brother of Bert and Margaret. Jack was a kind man, eternally optimistic with a quit wit and wonderful sense of humour. He was a skilled speaker with an undeniable presence. Jack was also a founding member of the Transportation Safety Board of Ontario. He will be deeply missed. Family and friends will be received at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Monday morning December 10, 2018 from 10 o’clock until time of memorial service at 11 o’clock.
