Helen Hartt was born in Copper Cliff, Ontario on October 18, 1931. She was the youngest daughter of Edward & Katherine O'Brien and sibling to Beryl O'Brien (Dunn). Helen was awarded a scholarship to the University of Toronto, where she met a young law student by the name of Patrick Hartt. On August 24, 1954 Patrick & Helen were married. They lived a truly magical life together for 68 years until Patrick left this world on June 23, 2022 at the age of 96. Since that day, Helen wished to be united with Pat and on April 12, 2023 at the age of 91, she left this world to join him.
Helen is a child of God, a musician, an artist, an animal lover, a scholar, a mother to Constance Hartt, a grandmother to Sarah Hartt, and an aunt to Sandy Thurston (Dunn), David Dunn and Donald Dunn.
There will be a simple celebration of life taking place for Patrick & Helen at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
