Our hearts have been heavy since the passing of Jonathan Mark McMillan on the 19th day of November 2021 after a long term battle with Cancer.

Husband and best friend of Mary McMillan (Thompson).  Loving father to Keigan and Christine.  Jon was the youngest of 4 children to Aubrey and Monica McMillan (both deceased).  He will be deeply missed by sister Kathryn (Richard), and brother's David (Suzanne) & Chris (Susan).

Early in his working life, he travelled North America with 'The Famous People Players' for 2 years, where he met the love of his life, Mary.  Together they raised their family in Port Coquitlam BC, where Jon worked at Vancity for the past 15+ years, as a Member Service Specialist.

Jon is also an alumnus from Park Street Players, where he played the lead role of  Professor Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, as well as Biff Loman in Death of a Salesman.  Perhaps his most notable role was as Santa Claus, for various charities and Vancity Christmas parties.

Jon will be coming home with his family and a Celebration of Life will take place at Creative Nomad Studios on Saturday June 25, 2022 from 1 - 4:30pm.  Immediately following will be the interment of his urn at Knox Presbyterian Cemetery, 9th Line and Old Barrie Road, Oro-Medonte.  All are cordially invited to both, or either, events.

Arrangements entrusted to Burquitlam Funeral Home
