Chapman, Gertrude Marie (nee Hall)
May 22, 1934 - May 16, 2023
Gertrude (Marie) Chapman, with family by her side, went home to be with the Lord at Trillium Nursing Manor on Tuesday May 16, 2023, at the age of 88 a week shy of her 89th year.
Daughter of Frank and Gertrude Hall. Sister of Orland, Dorothy, Hallie and Margaret.
Devoted wife of Allan (Bud) Chapman for 65 years. Loving mother of Stephen Chapman, Heather Stanton (Daniel). Beloved grandmother of Kay (Chris), Kira (Ian), Kyle (Jillian), Kalie, Koen, Anna (Cornel), Matthew (Erin). Great Grandmother of Elias, Declan, Willow, Kezia, Holly, Lilly, Anthony and many other nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her family, and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Trillium Nursing Manor for their loving care and attention to Marie over the last 2 years.
Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia on Thursday June 1st, 2023, from 12 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment Atherley Cemetery.
