Our dear sweet Ada died at home on October 23, 2018 at the age of 28. She struggled with mental health issues and drug addictions, which she sadly could not overcome. Ada was loved ‘to the moon and back’ by her mother, Esther Malmstrom (Dave Boyes) of Orillia, and Rick Chepyha (Linda Chepyha) of Freelton. She was totally treasured by her sister and best friend, Lori Chepyha (Brian Schumm) and sister, Tracy Boyes. She was loved unconditionally by her ‘Other Mother’, Aunt Ada Malmstrom (Bob Hobbs). She was a dear Aunt to Ethan Chepyha-Arnold and Denley Beebe-Boyes. She had many friends that will miss her terribly. Ada was highly intelligent, very creative and had a hilarious wit, not to mention her wicked sense of style!!
Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Ada’s Life on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Simcoe Funeral Home, in Orillia, Ontario. Please feel free to share your memories of Ada at this Celebration.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association, which can be made through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East, Orillia, Ontario.
