It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Conner announces her peaceful passing, in her 81st year, on Monday August 9th, 2021 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, ON.
Predeceased by Lorne, her loving husband of 41 years, Margaret was the devoted and beloved mother of Jeffrey (predeceased) and Cynthia (Leonard Hastings), and most special and cherished “Nanny” to granddaughter Elsa Arlene. Margaret will be remembered fondly by her brother Bill (Jean) Raymond of Preston, England and by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Sochaniwskyj, paramedic services and the emergency team at RVH (in particular, nurse Nicole) for their excellent care and compassion.
Honouring Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place and family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Mundell Funeral Home on Saturday August 21st, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital or the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) would be greatly appreciated and may be made through the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, (705) 325-2231
