It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mark where he retired in New Glasgow, NS on October 30, 2021 in his 64th year. Mark, the husband of Nancy, loving father to Robyn Gordon (Adam ) of Montrose, BC and Dallas Barnes (Luke) of Washago, ON. Grandad to Cloe, and Abigail.
He is survived by his brother Ed (Maureen), sisters Carine, Judy, Deb -aka Zelda(John) Rose (Stan), & nieces Cheryl-Lynn (Gord), Leanne (Kevin), Laura (Barb), Michelle, Joanna, Sarah & Michael. He is preceded in death by his parents Francis & Edwin Cooling, sister Lorraine, brother in-law Cliff, & cousin Wayne. Cremation is taking place in Halifax on Monday November 8, 2021. His defined laugh could be heard across rooms, and was known for always being so friendly and outgoing. The family is greatful for the condolences but at this time declines flowers or donation.
