It is with broken hearts that we announce Derrick’s sudden passing on Thursday June 16th, 2022, at the age of 35. Derrick was able to donate to 2 recipients for the Trillium Gift of Life. Derrick leaves behind his parents Debbie Mayes and Rockland Courvoisier. Loving father of Jaydin James Courvoisier 15, Caitlyn Courvoisier 11, Kristee-Lee Courvoisier 5; stepfather of Seth McKelvie (predeceased May 2021). Derrick will be dearly missed by his twin brother Dennis Courvoisier, older brother Matthew Courvoisier, older sister Cara Courvoisier (Mark Cockburn) and younger sister Alysia Genno. Derrick will be remembered by many family and friends.
A Celebration of Derrick’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E Orillia on Friday June 24th, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.
