It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lloyd Crawford on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at I.O.O.F Seniors Home, Barrie. Lloyd Crawford at the age of 88, beloved husband of Rose Crawford (deceased) for 64 years. Loved father of Shelley Kirkby and predeceased by Patti Gayle and Gary Lloyd. Dear father-in-law of Lisa Crawford and the late Gerry Kirkby. Cherished Grandfather to Jeffrey McHardy (Michelle), Mathew McHardy, Ashleigh Crawford (Will) and Michael Crawford (Stephanie). Great Grandfather to Owen, Alyssa, Paisley, Reid, Caleb and Peyton.
Lloyd lived his last 3 months at the I.O.O.F. Home for Seniors after the passing of Rose. He loved it there and was so happy that he was not alone. The Family wants to thank the staff that cared for Lloyd while he was there. He lived on the Allandale Village Floor and the staff there went above and beyond to care for Lloyd in the 3 months he was there. We will always be grateful.
Friends and family will be received at LEGACY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (parking and entrance on Highway 400 side of building) on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 12 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 1 o’clock p.m. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to I.O.O.F. Seniors Home, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Association, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
