We are sorry to announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, on Saturday October 5th, 2019, at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland, with her family by her side.
Viola (Vi), formerly of Toronto and Waubaushene, was the wonderful wife of Howard (Howie). Loving mother of David Crichton (Betty) of Toronto and Carolyn Jamieson (Ken) of Horseshoe Valley. Proud grandmother of Jeffrey Crichton (predeceased), Lizzie Brooksbank (Chris), Adam Jamieson (Jess), Andrew Jamieson (Allana), Cynthia Kellett (Morgan) and great-grandmother of Cara and Nathan Jamieson, twins Connor and Callum Jamieson and Colton Kellett. Predeceased by her parents Daisy and Charles Lindley and by her sister Bernice Graham. Dear sister-in-law of Jean Allan (Rev. Gordon) of Woodstock.
Vi had just enjoyed her 90th birthday at the cottage in Waubaushene and 69 years and 19 days of happily married life. She was a member of Marchmont Baptist Church in Orillia for over 40 years and of previously of Bethel Baptist Church in Toronto where she and Howie were married.
Friends and relatives will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Thursday, October 10th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Marchmont Baptist Church, 3839 Town Line, Severn, on Friday morning, October 11th at 11 o'clock. Interment: Waubaushene Protestant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Marchmont Baptist Church or the Alzheimer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
