Passed peacefully at Mariposa House Hospice in Orillia on Sunday June 20, 2021, after a short but brave battle with cancer. She was in her 69th year. Marilyn, loving partner to Nash Soliman, will be sadly missed by her children Maggie Davidson, Ashley Davidson, and Adam Davidson, and her two grandchildren Willow and Rupert. Marilyn is survived by her brother John Davidson and by her sister Pat (Randy) Kingshott, predeceased by her brother Raymond and her parents Dorothea and Jim Davidson.
Marilyn enjoyed a long career with Correctional Services Canada where she met her partner Nash (of 25 years), and where she made many cherished friends. She was very proud of her children and absolutely adored her grandchildren. She had an avid green thumb, always had a good book on the go, and great music playing. She will be remembered always through her favourite songs, and on the beautiful summer solstice when we said goodbye.
