It is with profound sadness that the family of Edith Margaret Dicker (Beiers) announce her peaceful passing on May 3rd, 2024 at the age of 92 years. Peacefully and surrounded by her family, at Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
Edith was born on April 16th, 1932. She was a dedicated Nurse for over 30 years at the Huronia Regional Centre. An avid card player at the Orillia Legion, and a traveller at heart favouring the Canadian East Coast.
Edith leaves behind her Daughters, Wendy Dicker (Matt Pattenden) and Debra McMeekin (Ron McMeekin). Sister, Doris Weistra (nee Beiers) & her husband Dick Weistra and Brother Frederick Beiers (Lois Beiers). Her loving Grandchildren, Laurie Taylor, Lisa Taylor, Chrissy Taylor, Angela McMeekin, Shawn McMeekin and Rusty. In addition to her many Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren and extended family and friends.
She is predeceased by Husband Norman Michael Dicker, and Partner Earl. As well as her Parents and some Siblings.

A family interment will take place on Saturday, June 8th at 12 noon at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia. A Celebration of Edith's Life will be held on Saturday, June 8th from 2 - 5 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion (Branch #34) 215 Mississauga Street West, Orillia, everyone is welcome.
