It is with great sadness that the family of William (Bill) Dickson announces his passing. William passed away peacefully at his home on October 24th, 2024 in his 75th year alongside his wife, Sherri Jacobs.
William had been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in his 72nd year and fought a very courageous battle with it. William was a proud hard-working man. He was a man of integrity, kindness and a warm heart.
Predeceased by his parents, George Dickson and Margaret (Rolfe) Dickson and sister Ann Dickson. Loving Father of Suzy Ferdinand (Dickson) and Brooke Jacobs. Cherished Grandfather of Kaitlin Dickson, Koraline Ferdinand, Kegan Ferdinand & Kenzie Ferdinand. He will be sadly missed by his two brothers, Ben Dickson & Brian Dickson. Beloved husband to Renata Dickson (Adler) for 34 years. William will be missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Born on July 11, 1948 of Scarborough, Ontario. He spent much time in Orillia, Ontario where his parents had a summer home. He relocated to Thompson, Manitoba in 1977, where he spent 13 years as a Nickel Miner, he was also part of the Mine Rescue Team. He returned to Orillia, Ontario in 1990 after his father passed away where he stayed until 2021. He was the happiest with the wind on his face riding his favourite Harley Davidson.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
