Passed away peacefully, after a brief battle with cancer, at the Champlain Manor, Orillia, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.
Rodney Dobson of Orillia, beloved husband of the late Gloria Dobson and the late Willa Dobson. Loving Father of Rodney (Sandi), Kathy (Ken) Crawford, Dean (Carolyn) and Denise (Frank) Pahlke. Dear Grandpa of Jason (Danielle), Kaitlyn, Sara (Tyler), Gary; Big Papa to Jake, Megan, Cole; Papa to Anissa, Bradon; Great Grandpa to Wyatt and Hailey. Predeceased by his brothers Albert, Melvin, Wells and Harold. Rodney was a stepfather & grandpa to Wayne (predeceased), Gary, Glenn, Gail (Robert) and their families.
Friends and relatives and invited to meet the family at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Monday January 14th, 2019 from 12 Noon until time of service at 1 pm. A Private Family interment will take place. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
