It is with a heavy heart that the family of Victor Theodore Dumas announce his passing.
Victor passed peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday February 12, 2023 at the age of 79.
Victor was the son of the late Gertrude and Theodore Dumas, husband to the late Barbara Dumas (nee Barkwell), brother of the late Rene Dumas (Marie), father of John (Mary), Gramps to Jason and Jaclyn (John) and Great Gramps to Sophia and Cataleya.
Victor worked in the store fixture display industry for many years, making many friends and acquaintances. He was also an active member of the Orillia community, volunteering his time to assist with the Mariposa Festival and the Annual Salvation Army Kettle Drive.
Victor enjoyed spending time with his Sophie’s Landing friends and neighbours playing cards and attending social functions.
He was also a member of the Orillia Probus Club.
Victor was happiest travelling the world and making everlasting memories with his beloved Barbara.
He will be deeply missed and remembered always by his family and friends.
Cremation has taken place as per Victor’s wishes.
A celebration of life will be held at Carson’s Funeral Home located at 54 Coldwater St. East in Orillia on Saturday, March the 11th from 2-4 p.m.
Internment will take place at a later date in the Coboconk Cemetery.
