Loving husband of Donna (Little), proud father of Steve (Krista) and Hugh (Jay), and adoring grandfather of Caterina and Peter, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2021 in Orillia, Ontario. Born on September 12, 1940 in Sudbury Ontario, Fred graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Western Ontario in 1964. He prospered during a 30+ year professional career in the road construction industry in the GTA. Upon retirement in 1997 he and Donna moved from their home in King City, Ontario to Tiny Township, where they enjoyed golfing and sailing their boat on Georgian Bay. They made many international trips together during the winter months. In retirement, Fred applied his engineering skills to countless home improvement and church projects, and also rediscovered his life-long passion for sports cars. He generously gave of his time as a long-serving board member of his church. Fred will be lovingly remembered for his kind spirit and dry wit, and for the enthusiasm with which he greeted every new day.
