It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend Peter Michael Foley on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the age of 74 years.
He journeyed 48 years at the side of his devoted wife, Linda (nee Kilby). He leaves behind his loving sons, Patrick (Peggy) and Kevin (Bridget). Proud Papa of Jacob, Joshua and Keira. Survived by his twin sister Margaret (Peggy), Petrie (Bruce), Joseph (Gerry), Karen (Robert), Matt (Louise) and Tom, sister-in-law of Wendy (Gord); Diane (Jan), Carole and brother-in-law Robert (Florence).
He is predeceased by his proud parents Cyril and Loretta; and his sibling's Leslie, Joanne (Jack). Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and prayerful friends. Peter was retired from Canada Post both as a letter carrier and a postal clerk. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of fishing, hunting, family, faith, dancing and especially with his pet Maggie. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday September 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parish Prayers will be held in the Parlour Wednesday evening at 6:45 PM. Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St. N., Orillia for Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday September 20, 2018 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, donations to the Church of the Guardian Angels would be appreciated.
