Passed away peacefully at Oak Terrace in Orillia on Monday, June 28, 2021, in her 89th year.
Fondly remembered by Melbourne Fountain. Loving mother of Linda Lee, Sandy Glynn (Matthew), Doug Fountain (Terri Waugh), Randy Fountain (the late Terri Stewart), Lori Pain, Mike Fountain (Katia), Kim Faulkner and Tracy Laughlin (Dwayne). Leona will also be sadly missed by her abundant grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sons Ronald Fountain and Raymond Fountain. The family would like to thank the staff at Oak Terrace for their wonderful compassion and care during the time Leona spent there.
A private graveside service will be held at Barrie Union Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Oak Terrace through the JENNETT FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie.
