At the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family on Friday April 7, 2023 at the age of 89.
Garry Ganton of Orillia, beloved husband of Helen Ganton (nee McDonald). Loving father of Sharon Walker, Kelly Dominelli (Ralph), Kim Mayer (Denis), Stephen Ganton predeceased (Suzanna) and the late Sandra Wagner (Sean). Loved by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sisters Loy, Doreen and Shirley. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Home 54 Coldwater Street E., Orillia, Ontario 705-326-3595 on Monday April 10, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 11 A.M. A reception will follow the funeral service in the funeral home.
Following the reception a private family interment will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Orillia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Mariposa House Hospice or Orillia Minor Hockey association would be appreciated by the family.
