It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly Ellan Godfrey. Kim passed Friday, August, 25, 2023 peacefully surrounded by loved ones and with her loving partner of 39 years Gordon Beard. Kim was a loving free spirited, funny, sarcastic person that would do anything for her family and loved ones.
Kim was the precious daughter of June and Norman Godfrey (both predeceased). Much loved sister of James (Kyung Ja) and Kathy Godfrey. She was the greatly loved and cherished mother of Ted Godfrey (Audra-Lee) , Joe Godfrey (Megenta) and Crystal Godfrey (James). She was the adored Grandma to her precious granddaughter Trista Godfrey. She will be dearly missed by her Sister-in-law Elizabeth Beard-Cunningham (John) and their children Zac and Sarah and by her Brother-in-laws, Dave Beard (Debbie) and Paul Beard. She will be fondly remembered by her surviving Aunts Betty Elliot-Kichler (Joe) and Carolie Moore and her surviving Uncle Doug McNevan. You have reached your eternal resting place and are no longer in pain. You have joined with our loved ones who have gone on before us. I’m sure your Mom was there to greet you, give her a hug from us all. We will love and miss you until we meet again. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home.
