GOODALL, William (Willy)

Was born in New Stevenston, Scotland on March 24, 1921 to William George Goodall and Margaret Florence Goodall.  Willy's journey ended at Leacock Care Centre in Orillia on the morning of Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in his 97th year.  Willy was a loving husband to Margaret (Cooper) (predeceased), father to Eric (predeceased)(Cindi) and Eileen Kitchen (Bruce).  He will be dearly missed by his six grandchildren: Andrea Fockens (Tom), Sheryl Schonberg (Jeff), Mark Kitchen (Hannah), Kim Beard (Paul), Debbie Taylor (Walter), and Jonathan Goodall (Helmi).  He was loved by his seventeen great grandchildren, and was blessed with three great, great grandchildren.  His sisters, Isabella Rayfield (predeceased) and Margaret Farquharson (predeceased) were frequently in his conversation.  Willy's memory will be cherished by nieces and nephews, and many others, who affectionately called him"Uncle Willy".  All who knew him could see that he lived a life of strong faith and joy, desiring to please his Lord in all that he did.  He is now with his Lord, whom he loved so much.  Visitation will take place at Mundell's Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia, on Friday March 9 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm.  There will be a funeral service on Saturday, March 10th at Hillside Bible Chapel, 195 Atlantis Dr., Orillia.  Doors open at 12:00.  Service to begin at 1:00 pm.  Refreshments will be served after the service.  The family would like to thank Leacock Care Centre for their loving and compassionate care and of Willy and the family during the past two years.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MSC Canada (Mission and Service Connections) or to Leacock Care Centre (Leacock Family Council).
