It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden unexpected passing of Howard in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 60.
Howard is survived by his children, Cassandra Hagan, Allison Hagan, and Adam Hagan of Orillia, ON and his beloved cat, Chinook. Grandfather to Parker Hagan. The youngest brother to Glenn Hagan, Bill Hagan and Helen Hagan of Calgary, AB. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, Charlene Boyce and many friends in Calgary and Orillia.
Born in Orillia, ON, Howard was the son of William Hagan and Elsie Baker. Howard taught himself how to play guitar, write his own songs and sing as a young man and that lead to a lifelong passion for music and storytelling through his songs. Howard loved to play for friends and family and was always happiest when he had a guitar in his hands.
A Celebration of Howard’s Life will be held for family and friends on Saturday September 9, 2023 in Calgary, Alberta.
