Joyce will be deeply missed by Nelson, as well as other surviving family members, including her brother Paul Fletcher (Grovine, predeceased), sister Margaret McCaul (Paul), children Myrna (Peter), Kevin (Brenda) and Eric (Denise), grandchildren Mark (Katie), Tamara (Tim), Dale (Sarah), Krista (Nathan), Shania (Dillian), Randy, Alesha and Becky, great-grandchildren Gordon, Georgia, Greyson, Dean, Maisie, Sydney, Bella and Adalynne.

Joyce’s career was marked by dedication and hard work. She held various jobs before finding her calling at Chrysler Canada in Ajax, where she eventually retired after many years of service. She and Nelson spent over two decades together enjoying their well-earned retirement in Dunedin, Florida, where Joyce coordinated many social events and made numerous friendships.

Joyce was a loving and caring individual who touched the lives of many. She faced her brief battle with cancer with grace and courage, surrounded by family and with Nelson at her side. A special thank you to the staff at the Leacock Care Centre for their compassionate support and care.
