Passed away at home on Sunday July 14, 2019 at the age of 68. Jerry, loving father of Maureen McPeake-Ferrarin (Mark), Randi-Lynn Hawke-LeBlanc and Mackenzie Hawke-LeBlanc. Proud grandfather of Jessie and Mitchell McPeake and great grandchildren Naya, Greyson and Carter.
Also loved son of the late Howard Hilliard Hawke and Frances Josephine (nee Foley). Dear brother of Thomas (predeceased) and Debbie Ringler (Alan). Loved uncle of Rebecca (Rick) and Tom (Cherie) and Alanna (David). Jerry will be sadly missed by his extended family; Bonnie, Ryan, Nancy, Victoria, Jamie, Jordyn, the Perryman’s and all his close friends who he considered family. Jerry was an auto mechanic by trade and before he retired fully, he was an air tanker base supervisor in Alberta. He loved music and playing his guitar, the outdoors; fishing, camping and cooking. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Saturday July 27 from 1 PM until time of Funeral Service at 3 PM. Interment will be held at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery on Monday July 29, 2019 at 1 PM. If desired, Memorial Donations to SickKids Foundation or a Donation Jar will be set up to help the kids with the funeral expenses.
