Wendy Pauline Hipkin (nee Belbin) passed away peacefully, on Saturday June 17, 2023, at Joseph Brant Hospital, with her family at her side.
High school sweetheart, wife and friend of Rick Hipkin for 48 wonderful years. Loving mother to Jennifer (Tomas) Nieto and Jessica (Alex) Archdekin. She was a proud grandmother to Annabelle and Aiden. Sister to Brenda Belbin, the late Bruce Belbin, Jerry Belbin, and Danny Belbin. Wendy will be missed greatly by her extended family and friends.
Wendy enjoyed a long career as a well respected CMA Accountant at StorageTek and night school business teacher at Sheridan College. She was a kind and considerate person with a magnetic personality. Wendy was happiest when surrounded by family - conversing over coffee, playing games, and celebrating holidays together. She and Rick enjoyed summer trips out to Calgary and to camp, winter holidays down South and time spent in Newfoundland with family. Her love and dedication to her family will be remembered most.
Family and friends will be received at Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater Street East, Orillia on Thursday June 29th, with Visitation at 11 am, Service at 12 pm, and Reception to follow. Interment will occur after reception at Saint Andrew’s - Saint James’ Cemetery.
