House, Margaret Jane “Peggy” (Cross)
At the Mariposa House Hospice in Severn, Peggy passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2023 in her 99th year.
Peggy was the beloved wife of the late Jack House (2007) and loving mother to Judy Allison, Orillia and Jan (Stephen) Scheidt, Pembroke. Cherished grandmother to John (Devon) Allison, Jennifer (Clay) Allison-Hedges, Graham (Lauren) Scheidt, Evan (Lauren) Scheidt and Neal (Kyla) Scheidt. Great grandmother to Ashley (Josh), Jessica (Parker), Tyson, Cooper (Isabelle), Jorja, Jack and Lilly. Great great grandma to Marhett, Tayton and Walker.
Peggy was predeceased by her parents, Anna (McKelvey) and Robert W. Cross, stepmother Doris Cross (Glassford) and brother Robert C. Cross. She is survived and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Peggy had a beautiful smile and was a very loving, smart and generous person. She was an excellent cook, homemaker and hard working individual in all areas of her life. Peggy was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mariposa House Hospice, Severn, would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks to the staff at Independent Living Suites, Orillia, Helping Hands and granddaughter Jen, who have provided care to Peggy over the last several years.
