Passed away at his home surrounded by family on Thursday May 4th, 2023, at the age of 91.
Beloved husband of the late Joan Houston (nee Manning) for over 65 years. Loving father of Holly Heavener (late Chris), Cheryl Houston, David Houston, and the late Michelle Houston. Cherished grandfather of Ashley (Josh), and Kelsey (James); great grandfather of Abigail, Bridget and Lily. Dear brother of Margaret (Ann) Readman (Lloyd) and the late Irene Houston. Bill will be missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia (705) 327- 0221 on Thursday May 18th, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 pm.
A funeral service will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home on Friday May 19th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Interment at St. Andrew’s - St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Aggarwal and the nurses at Bayshore for their compassion and excellent care.
