HUGHES, June (nee Ashton)

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the age of 86.  Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Hughes.  Loving mother of Kathy-Anne Carr (Tom), Robin (Colleen), Brian (Sherri) and Barry Hughes.  Dear grandmother of Matthew (Vicky), Jessica (Chris), Abigail, Olivia, Josh, Ben, Alexander and Kassandra.  Sister of Vern Ashton (Catherine) and Dianne Stevenson (Bill).  Sister-in-law of John Hughes (Jo-ann) and Carol Barlow (Brian).  Predeceased by Shirley Perigo (Wally), Harry Hughes and Audrey Faris (Del). June will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Visitation will be held at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, 429 Jamieson Drive, Orillia on Saturday, June 1 from 7-9 p.m.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 2nd at 3 p.m.  If desired, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
