Gertrude passed away peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, in her 95th year. Gertrude beloved wife of Yeb Donald Jermey. Loving mother of Nancy (Bradley) McGrady of Guthrie, Robert (Diana) Jermey of Hawkestone and Ross (Jennifer) Jermey of Oro-Medonte. Cherished Gramma of Rebecca (Shane Towns) Jermey, Kyle (Tanya) Jermey, Jermey McGrady, Derek (Kate Austin) Jermey, Colin (Meghan Riley) Jermey and great Gramma of Emma, Taylor, Oliver and Maverick. Beloved bonus Gramma to Jorja and Blake Towns. Dear sister of Neil Burnie of Thunder Bay, Gerry Burnie of Orillia and predeceased by siblings Mary, Bernadine, Catherine, James (Father Jim), Lorne and Margaret. Gert is survived by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Jermey will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia, on Sunday January 28th from 1 - 4 pm. Funeral Service to take place in the Mundell Chapel on Monday, January 29th, 2024, at 1 pm.
