It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of a dear son, brother, nephew and friend Richard Kilby on Tuesday, March 8th, 2019 at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. At the age of 51, Richard is survived by his parents Christine Pethick of Orillia and Bob Kilby Jr. of Cornwall, his sister Laura-Lynn, and brother Robbie. Richard will be remembered for his sense of humour, love of music (especially the “Beatles”) and his special occasion themed parties.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Thursday March 14th, 2019 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. All of Richard’s family, friends, and workers are welcome. Special Thanks to his loving caregivers at (Karen Cres. and Regent St), Dr. Peter Daniel, and the supportive staff on Soldiers’ 1. Richard will be missed but always remain our special ray of sunshine! As an expression of sympathy memorial donation may be made to the Charity of your choice.
