Passed away at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Friday June 30th, 2023 at the age of 34 years.
Loving father of Owen Laughlin and stepfather of Leighton Readman. Cherished son of Cathy and Scott Sears. Dear grandson of Phil and Liz Bradford and Linda Sears (late Gord). Cherished big brother of Samantha and Cody Laughlin. Chris will be missed and lovingly remembered by Owen & Leighton's Mother Brandy, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He will be especially missed by his best friends and furry children, Sasha and Hank. Cherished partner Katlin Garbutt. Chris loved the outdoors, hunting, trapping, and fishing but mostly he loved spending time with his kids.
A celebration of life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East in Orillia on Friday July 14th , 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital or to Addictions and Mental Health Ontario in Christopher’s name.
