Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in Marchmont on Sunday June 11, 2023 in his 77th year. Son of the late William and Eva Lee (nee Shellswell).
Loved brother of Linda Martin (Doug), predeceased by his brothers Randy Lee and Billy Lee. Lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Debbie Lee. Dear uncle of Chris Lee (Lisa), Lisa Lee (Dave), Josh Lee, Daniel Martin (Rose) and Rebecca Martin. Proud great uncle of Lindsay, Jesse, Madison, Trenton, Heyden, Greyson, Jack and Olivia.
Dan will especially be missed by Heyden and Greyson as he has played an integral role in their whole lives. He was lovingly called Uncle "D" by them, but he was more like a grandpa. He was extremely devoted and dedicated to them every day of their lives. He was the most patient and kind man and took pride in helping take care of them in every way.
Danny was a longtime employee of Weston's Bakery in Orillia. He will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew him. Arrangements entrusted to Mundell Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Danny's name would be appreciated by the family.
