After a day filled with many family visits, Joan passed away peacefully at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia on February 6, 2023, at the age of 93. Joan is now reunited her beloved husband Gordon, daughter Cheryl Ann, mother Clara Gilroy, and siblings Evelyn and Mervyn. Loving mother of Lynda Harold (Bill), Barb Wilcox (Frank), Bryce Leitch (Diane), Grant Leitch (Nancy) and Joanne McHugh (Terry). Proud Grandma of 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren (with 2 more on the way), and 3 great great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by longtime family friends Ted & Sherrill Tallon. Joan will be remembered as a woman who devoted her life to family, her quick wit and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.
Friends and family will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11th from 11 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Spring Interment: Salem Mariposa Church Cemetery.
