Passed peacefully surrounded by family at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 in her 89th year. Joan, loving wife of 72 years to Ron, will be sadly missed by her children Patti-Lynn (Richard) Card, Gini (Trevor) Stringer, Terri (Dominic) Caroleo, Andy (Denise) Lewis, and Rhonda (Dave Joyce) Lewis. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jeff (Lindsay), Chris (Chantal), Lee-Ann (Ben), Melissa (Chris), Jessica, Bryan (Megen), Dan (Michelle), Marianne (Adam), Michael (Julia), Jenna (Pav), Drew, Emily, and by her great grandchildren Kyle, Logan, Savana, Lola, Zander, Sophie, Charlie, Ruby, Archer, Hazel, Raegan, and Neil. A celebration of Joan's life will take place at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Home 54 Coldwater Street E., Orillia, Ontario 705-326-3595 on Friday July 7, 2023 at 12 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation to Soldiers 1 in appreciation for their excellent care.
